We understand that our clients lead busy lives and sometimes things above and beyond your control may mean you are running late or need to cancel. We will always try to be as accommodating as possible, but please be aware of the following policies:

Hunters Cancellation Policy

Hunters Hair Specialists now operate with a booking fee. This is to secure your appointment time. The fee is non-refundable, but it is transferable as long as the appointment is rescheduled 48 hours before your initial appointment date.

The fee will be as follows

£10 for cut & blow-drys, blow-drys, kids cuts and men’s cut appointments.

£20 for all colour services.

50% of estimated service bill for appointments over 1.5 hours long. i.e.- wedding hair, keratin blow-drys.

The booking fee is for each service booked. The remaining balance will be due after your service is complete.

Non-refundable terms still apply:

  • Less than 48 hours cancellation
  • Late arrival
  • No show
  • Constant change of scheduled appointment

If we are able to re-sell the appointment time to someone else, we will transfer your booking fee to another appointment. Thank you for understanding.

Hunters Late Policy

Arriving more than a few minutes late may mean we are not able to honor your appointment.

Here at Hunters we always want to give you the best possible experience. Arriving anymore than a couple of minutes late may mean that we do not have sufficient time to give you the service you deserve. Of course, we understand that it is not always your fault and where possible we will always try to accommodate you. However, if we can no longer carry out a full service we have the right to refuse your appointment.

Hunters Text Message Policy

We understand that remembering that appointment you made 6-8 weeks ago is not always easy. Therefore, Hunters Hair Specialists will send you a text notification 2 days prior to your appointment to confirm the date and time. If you do not wish to be part of this service please notify one of the team.

At Hunters we love to keep in touch with our guests so please don’t be offended when we ask you for your mobile number and email address.

Important Announcement

From 6th January we will be relocating our appointments to feathers hair salon in Braintree. We are having emergency repair works carried out to our Great Dunmow salon and all of our guests are invited to see us at our temporary location. We will be back open again in The Old Town Hall, Great Dunmow from Tuesday 28th January. Please be mindful of the location whilst booking your hair appointments.
